We have just had 900 sqft of engineered hardwood flooring, with a complete handrail and staircase system installed in our raised bungalow. During all initial consultations, spanning 3 weeks, Dale was very patient and undemanding -- no question was ever considered trivial and no pressure for sale ever brought up. Dale's product knowledge is excellent but just as important, were his suggestions for "perfecting" the project. He recommended Birch for our project -- an absolutely gorgeous wood. His recommendation of using metal spindles with a "Metallic Chestnut" finish was terrific. He personally designed the shoe moulding for the spindles to fasten to, which added value optics to the completed railing system. Upon his suggestion, we also replaced our tiny baseboards and door casing with higher ones. There was never any pressure to do so but the idea was always "there" and as a result, we decided to do exactly that -- the result STUNNING!!! The stairs and handrail system was equally amazing in its finished look -- we truly feel like we are living in a brand new house!!! The install proceeded quite smoothly -- as with any renovation of this size a few concerns arose but were rectified effectively, pleasantly and to our satisfaction. Brockville Wood Products refinished the existing hardwood flooring and site finished newly installed hardwood floor throughout my house. Both were side by side, in fact, the new flooring had to be pieced into the existing flooring in spots. Then both were stained and finished together. The result was simply unbelievable; the staining and finishing were what I had requested, but most amazing was the fact that there was no difference between the new and old woods. Beautiful baseboard mouldings were painted and installed... tops were siliconed and nail holes filled. The job was very well done and looks excellent. I am very pleased with the workmanship, quality of the service, communications and organization. I would recommend BWP to anyone looking to have wood flooring refinished or site finished.

We had heard many good things about Brockville Wood Products, so we approached Dale at the recent Home Show. Dale was very professional and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and concerns about hardwood flooring. He invited us to his showroom, which was impressive. We chose a 5" knotty walnut floor with matching flush mount air-registers and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The Installer was thorough and did a remarkable job. Even the baseboard mouldings were reinstalled, and the floor cleaned. Dale was onsite and assisted with the installation. We were given a complimentary floor cleaning kit at the end of the job. We live in an old stone/stucco 1840s house near the St. Lawrence River. The house has 8 wide, pegged oak floors on the ground level. When it became time to remodel the kitchen and back entrance, we began to look around to source matching material for the floors. The box stores cannot handle a job like that!
